A Cut Above Let Cookie Cutter Week (December 1-7) inspire some fun holiday activities all through the month. Sure, school chefs and students alike will enjoy a cookie-decorating contest. But take it the next step for a cookie cutter design contest, asking kids to draw their designs on paper or to bend pipe cleaners into unique shapes. (Winners could receive plastic cookie cutters with ribbons tied on top to double as ornaments.) And finally, think beyond the cookie! Set up a cafeteria station where kids can use cookie cutters and turn their sandwiches, mashed potatoes and other moldable food items into fun shapes.
