Digital Detox This holiday season, pledge that you won’t be the person at the dinner table or holiday party who is handcuffed to a digital device. Rather than updating your status about the delicious Thanksgiving dinner, put the smartphone or tablet away and really focus on being grateful for such a decadent meal and the company of loved ones! To break yourself of a social media addiction, start by changing the settings on your devices so they don’t alert you to every message, update or move on Words with Friends. If you feel the need to Instagram your holiday meal, take a photo, get it actually printed and place it in a photo album.
