John F. “Jack” Walker III, a partner in Martin Walker in Tyler, received the 2014 Reich Chandler Outstanding Advocate Award from the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Nancy Cutler Mulder, an attorney with Nancy C. Mulder Attorney at Law in Dallas, was elected judge of the County Criminal Court No. 4 of Dallas County. Mark R. Yzaguirre, associate general counsel and associate vice chancellor for legal affairs at the University of Houston System Office of the General Counsel; Brian Wice, of Brian Wice Attorney at Law in Houston; and Jay D. Ellwanger, of DiNovo Price Ellwanger & Hardy in Austin; were elected as fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Gindi Eckel Vincent, counsel to ExxonMobil in Houston, was elected to the board of directors of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Jeffrey S. Davis, deputy general counsel to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, received a Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive from President Barack Obama. Chad Baruch, an attorney with the Law Office of Chad Baruch in Rowlett, received a Salute to Excellence Award from the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. Paul J. Van Osselaer, principal in Van Osselaer Dispute Resolution in Austin, was inducted as a distinguished fellow of the International Academy of Mediators.
