Enter the ANC Exhibit Hall EXPLORE. DICOVER. BE INSPIRED! Wow…how time flies when you’re a busy school nutrition professional! In most communities, the school year has ended (or will soon), but many of you already have started preliminary preparations for SY 2015-16, which will be here before we know it! Even if your menus are planned and initial bid orders placed, now is the time to start the long process of identifying the products and services that will continue to help you to improve participation, compliance, efficiency and so many other aspects of your school nutrition operation. For those of you planning to attend SNA’s Annual National Conference (ANC) in Salt Lake City in July, we’ve got you covered. With more than 200,000 square feet of space, the ANC Exhibit Hall is a must-visit destination on your busy conference itinerary. It’s your one-stop shop for virtually any and every solution you’re hoping to find. From food items sure to spice up your menus, to equipment that will improve preparation time and quality, to software solutions designed to streamline operations and save you money, every product category related to the K-12 school nutrition segment can be found under one roof! Will this be your first visit to ANC’s Exhibit Hall? You’ll quickly understand why repeat attendees consider it one of the highlights of the annual event. Vendors also recognize this is their very best opportunity to reach K-12 decision-makers and decision-influencers. They wouldn’t miss providing you with the chance to see, taste, smell, touch and try their products. Whether you’re an ANC first-timer (welcome!) or a longtime veteran no longer intimidated by the miles of aisles, this press-time list of participating exhibitors is a must resource for pre-travel planning! With other members of your team, review the companies that will be showcasing their wares. You likely will recognize some of the names from the pages of this magazine, broker visits or the online SN Marketplace (via SchoolNutrition.org). Make a list of those you already know you want to visit. Next, check out the interactive map of the Exhibit Hall at SchoolNutrition.org/anc to get an initial sense of the layout, highlighting key areas to visit, such as the Wellness Village, the Produce Pavilion—and even School Nutrition magazine’s booth! Once you’ve arrived in Salt Lake City and made your way to the Salt Palace Convention Center, take advantage of ANC On the GO, the mobile app available for your smartphone or tablet, which will feature the most up-to-date details, as well as tools to organize your schedule and vendor priorities. (You can find details about accessing the app at www.schoolnutrition.org/ anc.) Plus, your onsite registration packet will include the 100+-page ANC Program Guide, which contains short descriptions of specific exhibitor offerings, as well as companies listed by product categories. It’s a handy tool onsite, as well as a great resource you can refer to for years to come back home. Wondering how you’ll see it all!? You have three days (Monday-Wednesday) to check out the 800+ booths, special areas and events, including product launches introduced on the new Big Reveal stage and the always popular Culinary Demonstrations!
