欲知更多关於 澳门科学馆的 资讯，请登入 Aomen.Tv。 Explore the Macao Science Center with L ocated near the heart of the city, the Macao science center opened in december 2009 after three years of construc- tion, just in time to mark the 10th anniversary of Macau’s return to china. designed by the renowned architect iM Pei, the center consists of three distinctive main buildings: a conical exhibition center, which contains 14 galleries arranged in an upward spi- ral; a dome-shaped Planetarium with more than 130 seats; and a fan-shaped convention center and office structure. According to executive direction Yip chee Kuen, the purpose of the gleam- ing new facility is to educate young people about science in a BraIN Box setting that is both tourist-friendly and fun. in keeping with its mission, the center features three per- manent exhibition galleries for kids. the ‘Fun science gallery’ introduces science to kids between two and seven years-old. the ‘children’s science gallery’, meanwhile, offers a fascinat- ing chance to explore water-related interactive exhibits. the ‘science express gallery’ is designed for older children, intro- ducing them to famous scientists and their discoveries. of a more broad appeal are spaces for robotics, space science, meteorology, health and environmental conservation. 2010年4月／5月 探索澳门 49
