» Summer’s Sweet Treat 2017 Summer is in full swing, and most parts of the USA are either steamy or broiling or both! Conditions are ripe for you to find relief from the heat with the quintessential summer refresher: the popsicle. But instead of serving up the sugary, brightly colored frozen treats stocked in the supermarket, turn to homemade ice pops made from fresh fruits, hearty yogurt and flavorful juice. Try out one of these recipes—all you need is a popsicle mold and some flat sticks! Grape Refresher 2 cups White grape juice 2 cups Seedless green grapes, sliced Put the grapes in the molds, fill with juice and freeze overnight. Fruity Honey Pops 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt 3 Tbsps. Honey 1 cup Your favorite fruit, sliced In a bowl, mix the yogurt with sliced fruit. Stir in the honey, spoon into the molds and freeze overnight. Guilt-Free Piña Colada Pop 4 cups Pineapple, chopped 15 ozs. Cream of coconut 3 Tbsps. Fresh lime juice Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Scoop into the molds and freeze overnight.
