GO -TO GUIDE TH E world-class culture fest Since its inception in 1996, the International Festival of Arts & Ideas has brought hundreds of internation-ally acclaimed artists to New Haven, from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Salman Rushdie to Little Richard, Philip Glass and Yo-Yo Ma. The 2012 edition runs June 16-30, and will fea-ture dozens of events (over 80 percent free of charge), including concerts, plays, lectures, films, discussions, readings and art exhibits.
