Juicy stakes 扑克 迷城 吸 引了986位来自14个国家玩家参赛的“澳门 盃扑克锦标赛(MPC)”注定又要再一次打破记 录。是次于新葡京举行的锦标赛奬金高达港币 4,074,600元， 难怪高手云集， 亚洲明星队成员之一的黄迪伟、 包括“扑克之星” 由“扑克之星” 赞助出赛的Kitty Kuo、Devan Tang 和Neil Arce。 高手过招，最让人关心的问题当然是：面对321位强敌 环伺，到底有谁夺得MPC主事——“红龙锦标赛”的出赛资 格呢？一轮淘汰之后，来自日本、法国、挪威、韩国、澳洲 和香港的玩家有幸挤身最后牌桌，有力撑到最终的只有Ray- mond Wu和Wei-En Shih两位来自台湾的选手。Shih以Q2 全押，Wu就迅速地以对方块７跟牌而成为了最後的大赢家。 除了赢得锦标赛的奬杯和总值港币664,000 元的奬金 Wu更晋身亚洲年度扑克玩家排行榜第一位。今年7月， 外， MPC还将捲土重来，且为红龙锦标赛带来港币2,000,000 元的保证金。 W ith 986 players from 34 countries converging on pokerstars Macau at the Casino grand Lisboa for the event, there was little doubt that the Macau poker Cup (MpC) would be a record-breaker. held from March 3-7 and boasting hK$4,074,600 (us$525,755) in total prize money, the MpC attracted such notable participants as pokerstars team asia pro Bryan huang, pokerstars-sponsored Kitty Kuo, devan tang, and neil arce. in the end, it all came down to the question of who would win the MpC main event – the sensational ‘red dragon’ photographs: david hartung – against a field of 321 players. the final table started off with players from Japan, France, norway, Korea, australia and hong Kong, but relentlessly narrowed down to a one- on-one battle between raymond Wu and Wei-En shih, both from taiwan. the final hand saw Wei-En move all-in with suited Q2, and Wu quickly calling with pocket sevens that would hold and bring him to the winner’s circle. as well as taking the ‘red dragon’ trophy and the first prize of hK$664,000 (us$85,677), Wu now heads the asia player of the Year (apoY) leaderboard. the MpC, meanwhile, will return in July with a hK$2,000,000 guarantee for its ‘red dragon’ event.
